The mobile game WWE SuperCard has retired former champion Brock Lesnar of its roster without explanation.

According to its players, as reported by VGC, Brock Lesnar’s cards have been removed from the game. So far, neither the game’s developer, Cat Daddy Games, nor its publisher, 2K, have issued an official statement as to why the former WWE champion has been removed from the decade-old game, which continues to receive constant updates.

Why was Brock Lesnar removed from the WWE SuperCard?

While there is no official reason, one of the more probable answers has to do with one of WWE’s recent controversies. Reports indicate that Lesnar is connected to the recent lawsuit filed against former WWE boss Vince McMahon, who is accused (and now under investigation) of sex trafficking. Although the plaintiff does not name him directly, the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant describes a sexual encounter with the former UFC and WWE champion.

More WWE in the future of video games, with or without Lesnar

Just a few weeks ago, 2K and Visual Concepts announced the first details of WWE 2K24, with a first round of wrestlers, modes, and its different editions, which will arrive for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC on Steam.

As for the fate of Brock Lesnar in this game, it still remains a mystery. Although at the moment he is part of the announced roster, as well as the cover of the 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition along with WWE Legends The Undertaker, The Rock, John Cena, and more, this gives reason to believe that he will end up at least in the Showcase mode. However, we can see a last-minute change on the part of 2K and Visual Concepts in the coming weeks, as the charges advance, before its release on March 5.
