New ‘Lord of the Rings’ movies

Three new ‘Lord of the Rings’ movies are on the table. One of them focuses on the creature Gollum and is directed and performed by Andy Serkis, an actor who already played Gollum in Peter Jackson’s trilogy. The second is a mystery, since absolutely nothing is known about her and the last one is ‘The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim’, an anime created by the director of ‘Ghost in the Shell’.

Chronology and where to see ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and ‘The Hobbit’

The cinematic universe created in the wake of Tolkien’s work is very large, as at this point it does not only include Peter Jackson’s films (‘The Fellowship of the Ring’, ‘The Two Towers’ and ‘The Return of the King’). There are also the ‘Hobbit’ movies and of course ‘The Rings of Power’, the Amazon series. The Original Trilogy and The Hobbit trilogy can be watched on Prime Video and MAX, with the original trilogy having its extended editions being only on MAX.
