The running times for episodes 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Stranger Things 5 are official: the last one is longer than a movie

Netflix users are on edge as the finale of Stranger Things approaches. Episodes 5, 6, 7, and 8 of Stranger Things 5 will conclude the fifth and final season, and considering how long each episode is, you’d better have plenty of time to sit back and enjoy them.

The streaming service has revealed the length of each episode along with its title. That said, they are all over an hour long, and one of them, the last one, lasts no less than 128 minutes, longer than many movies. Here is a breakdown of all the episodes:

  • Chapter 5 - Shock Jock - 68 minutes
  • Chapter 6 - Escape from Camazotz - 75 minutes
  • Chapter 7 - The Bridge - 66 minutes
  • Chapter 8 - The Rightside Up - 128 minutes

Release date for the finale of Stranger Things

The second volume (episodes 5, 6, and 7) will premiere on December 25, and the second (episode 8) on December 31st. The episodes will premiere at 5:00 p.m. PT, which corresponds to the following times across the United States:

  • 8:00 pm ET
  • 7:00 pm CT
  • 5:00 pm PT
