The Russo Brothers have a date for when ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ begins filming
The directors of the next ‘Avengers” films are certain they’ll be one of the most important projects of the coming years, as they prepare for filming to start.
After months of rumors, speculation, and unexpected revelations, finally Marvel Studios begins to shape what will be the climax of the current Multiverse Saga, which will come to an end with the next two ‘Avengers’ films, planned for 2026 and 2027, respectively. Now the Russo brothers, the directors in charge of making both films a reality after their good work with the two previous installments of the saga, have stirred up the fandom with some very promising statements, in addition to announcing the filming start date of the first of them: ‘Avengers Doomsday’.
Everything is ready for the filming of ‘Avengers Doomsday’
The Russo brothers themselves in a recent interview with Collider, confirmed the filming dates of ‘Avengers Doomsday’ ahead of its premiere in 2026, ensuring that the cameras will start rolling in the spring of next year, 2025. Of course, at the moment there is no specific date, so for now we can assume that filming will take place sometime between the months of March and June.
Why is there no exact date for the start of filming? According to the filmmakers, the script is not finished yet, since they are approximately halfway through: “We have a very structured process in which the entire team works together. It’s a challenge to plan a story of this magnitude”, explain the directors. Of course, there is no doubt that it will be one of the biggest film projects in recent years.
