The second upcoming ‘Predator’ project will be an animated anthology set on multiple time periods

2025 will be a great year for “Predator” as that second project is an animated anthology that could give us the hunters fighting Pirates, Samurai, and more.

Predator’ is preparing for the 2025 premiere of ‘Predator Badlands’, the new entry of the saga that will arrive in theaters in November of that same year and is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the same director of ‘Prey’, the film released directly on Disney+ and which managed to be a huge success for the franchise. Now, Gizmodo reports that there is another film coming next year that will show us the fearsome creature in an animated anthology.

When we talk about an anthology we are referring to a set or compilation of works, which in the case of animation are usually short stories that follow one after another. There are examples of all kinds and they have existed forever, with modern examples like ‘Love, Death, and Robots’ or others like ‘Heavy Metal, the 1981 classic. The author of ‘Akira’, Katsuhiro Otomo’, is another regular at the time to talk about this type of works with some as fascinating as ‘Memories’.

An outstanding 2025 for ‘Predator’

‘Predator’ is having a great moment and this is demonstrated with the future release ‘Predator Badlands’ and the secret project that everything indicates will be an animated film that will take us to different eras, thus facing samurai warriors, pirates and a third party on the there is no information currently.

The new ‘Predator’ will star actress Elle Fanning and details of the plot are currently unknown, but it will be set far from ‘Prey’, in the near future that will want to show all the possibilities that the saga has.
