Konami

The Silent Hill 2 remake just released, but mods are already flooding the internet with memes

CJ and Leon S. Kennedy are already exploring the cursed roads of Silent Hill 2, with modders rushing to release the expected mods.

Silent Hill, CJ

The modders did not wait long to get to work with Silent Hill 2 Remake. It’s only been on the market for a day, but the community has already started working on changing some aspects of the title. The tormented James Sunderland, the protagonist of the Konami classic, has been replaced by another legendary video game character, none other than CJ, from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The mod is available on Nexus Mods and has been created by SpiritHunz, who has used the original model of the character. This means it doesn’t look as detailed as James’s, since it’s a few generations apart.

Silent Hill and Resident Evil came out at the same time and have competed since then, although the terror of both productions is of a different nature. What would happen if Leon S. Kennedy wandered through the hazy streets of the cursed town? The answer in this other mod, which places the protagonist of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4, among others, in James’ nightmare. Considering the activity of the modding community, it is assumed that there will be many more additions and changes in the future.
