The Steam Winter Sale 2024 brings on the holiday discounts starting today

It’s the end of 2024, with the holidays on full throttle and people all over the world going on break from school and work. So what better time than the colder months to get cozy at home with some new games? The Steam Winter Sale 2024 is here for exactly that, with thousands of discounts and offers to fill up those stockings.

When is the 2024 Steam Winter Sale?

As of December 19 at 10 AM Pacific, the Steam Winter Sale 2024 has just started, meaning you can already jump into the platform to enjoy the many sales and get those games on your wishlist you’ve been meaning to get all year. You can expect us at Meristation USA to have a variety of lists and recommendations for any deals we find during those days, showing off prices and sales.

How long will the Steam Winter Sale be?

This seasonal Steam sale is not only the last one of the year but also one of its longest. It’ll be available from today, December 19, 2024, and until January 2, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific.

As with any Steam sale, it’s not clear at this point what will be discounted and what won’t, but there’s a good trick to keep an eye out for. Go to the Steam website, search for the games you’ve always wanted, and add them to your wishlist. Steam will then send you an email when it’s discounted, whether it’s for this Steam sale, a random discount throughout the year, or another seasonal offer.
