The wasteland is coming to the island: Fortnite will have a collaboration with Fallout in its new season
The first teaser of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 previews the collaboration with Fallout, the popular saga from Bethesda Game Studios.
Epic Games is setting the bar high with the first teaser for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, as it features an unexpected collaboration. The new season of the popular video game will feature content from Fallout, the saga created by Interplay and currently owned by Bethesda, which recently had a very well-received series on Prime Video.

Epic Games published on its usual channels such as X, Facebook, or Instagram the first teaser of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 on May 17, 2024, at 12:00 PM ET. This first image shows a helmet with the unmistakable servo armor of the Brotherhood of Steel from Fallout next to what appears to be one of the new locations available on the map of this new season.
We still don’t know exactly what kind of Fallout content will be coming to the game, but since it’s a seasonal collaboration, perhaps we could expect weapons and some character outfit from the franchise. Perhaps taking advantage of the popularity of the franchise, the folks at Bethesda are thinking of adding their protagonists to Fortnite, so we could see Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell), The Ghoul / Cooper Howard (Walton Goggins), or Maximus (Aaron Clifton Moten). At the very least, there will be a Fallout inspired outfit in the new Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Battle Pass.
‘Fallout’ is a video game franchise set in a post-apocalyptic future due to nuclear war, something that fits the theme of the new season of ‘Fortnite’ and the content shown in its roadmap. It is expected that there will be other collaborations with Metallica and “Pirates of the Caribbean”, and perhaps also with ‘Mad Max’, to get the most out of a context as unique as that of a world devastated by a conflict on a global scale, although the excuse that Fortnite has for the appearance of the new island is a huge sandstorm that engulfs everything.
In any case, we’ll have to wait until Friday, May 24, 2024, when Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 begins, and then we’ll be able to enjoy all the new content available with which Epic Games intends to surprise us.
