These are the 10 best series of 2023 according to IMDB
With only 7 months and a half behind us, this year has already given us a big handful of series and shows that can’t be missed. Here’s how to watch them all.
The number of series that we have at our disposal in the numerous streaming platforms of the moment (HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Netflix, Peacock...) is so overwhelming that sometimes it is logical that we have several titles in our backlogs, even if it is something very popular and well valued both by critics and by viewers.
But hey, it’s never a bad time to discover those we don’t know about, right? And since we know that there is no better way to do it than with lists in which the most acclaimed appear, we have focused on the 10 best series of 2023 according to IMDb. The presence of some on the list was to be expected, but others are sure to come as a surprise to many people.
With nothing more and nothing less than 24 nominations in the Emmy Awards 2023, The Last of Us (HBO) sits at the top of the list. The first season of the series directed by Neil Druckmann (director of the video game) and Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) has 9 episodes and each of them borders on the outstanding ratings on IMDb. We all look forward to Season 2 though we will have to wait longer than expected to find out how Joel and Ellie’s journey unfolds.
