Bandai Namco

These are the 10 worst fighters in Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero

Bandai Namco’s new title, now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, features a diverse roster of characters.

No Goku or Vegeta. No Cell, Freezer or Krilin in this list. No Pan or Yamcha. We refer to the lowest scale of power, to the weakest fighters of Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero, the new game developed by Spike Chunsoft for Bandai Namco. After detailing which are the most powerful, MeriStation reviews the worst of the title. With a very large roster of 182 playable characters, it looks like this. And yes, the supposedly most powerful man in the world is paradoxically the weakest of the roster.

Mr. Satan

He first appears in the Cell saga as one of the competitors in the World Tournament organized by the villain. He soon realizes that he has no chance against the monster, so he decides to use a different tactic: stealing the credit from those who actually defeat Cell. The TV broadcast of the show ends with the crowning of Mr. Satan, the World Champion. He may be a braggart, but in the Majin Buu saga, he helps save the world, so he befriends Goku and the other protagonists. His closeness to the first Majin Buu changes everything, and this friendship is reflected in Sparking! Zero, as Majin Buu helps him hide some of his flaws.

Videl

Mr. Satan’s daughter realizes that her father is not the strongest man in the world, especially after meeting the Great Saiyaman, a hero of dazzling power. With an alert and witty personality, Videl quickly unravels the secrets of her college classmate, the young Son Gohan. She discovers his true identity and asks him to train her, helping her to unleash her inner ki. This allows her to learn to fly and control her energy, giving her special powers. Despite being one of the weakest characters in the video game, Videl is still one of the most formidable human fighters.

Spopovich

Controlled by Babidi’s magic, his body undergoes a mutation that gives him special powers. The character goes to the World Martial Arts Tournament with a clear goal: to fight powerful soldiers and take their Ki. In one of the most iconic scenes of the Manganine, Gohan comes to Videl’s rescue, transforms into Super Saiyan 2, and Spopovitch drains him of all his energy. Unfortunately, he dies soon after, another victim of the sorcerer Babidi.

Master Roshi/Master Roshi Max Power

He looks like a venerable old man, although he is actually a dirty old man. He is also one of the world’s greatest martial arts experts and a world-class master. He trained Son Goku and Krilin when they were children and taught them his most powerful technique, a technique of his own invention. He is the original creator of the Kame Hame Ha, the most characteristic attack of “Dragon Ball”. At first glance, his body looks thin and decrepit, but when he concentrates his energy, his muscles glow and his power increases. He can then unleash his most deadly attacks. Despite his mastery, his disciples end up surpassing him by far.

Chiaotzu

Ten Shin Han’s inseparable friend was also a student of Master Crane, Master Roshi’s rival, a sinister character if ever there was one. He was trained as an assassin, but turned away from that path when he met little Son Goku. From that moment on, he began to question his methods until he finally joined the group of heroes. He does not hesitate to sacrifice himself for the greater good and plays his role, especially in ‘Dragon Ball’ and the early stages of ‘Dragon Ball Z’.

Saibaman

When the Saiyans Vegeta and Nappa arrive on Earth, they think that subjugating it will be a piece of cake. At first it seems so, as their rivals are no match for their immense power. Goku, a Saiyan raised on Earth, is no match for his fellow elite soldiers. And yet, he not only faces them, but defeats them. Before that happens, the Saiyans spawn the Saibaman, pesky enemies who make things very difficult for the companions. In fact, Yamcha’s most mythical death comes at the hands of one of these dangerous creatures.

Frieza Soldier

Frieza considers himself the master of the universe, enslaving peoples, destroying worlds, and crushing any attempt at rebellion, but that doesn’t mean he does it all himself. He has an army of warriors, including this character who appears in Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero. As a “putty” fighter, little can be said about him except that his fate is likely to be quite fateful.

Guldo

Another of Frieza’s lieutenants. He is the weakest of the Ginyu Special Forces, an elite squad in Frieza’s service. He appears in the Namek arc of ‘Dragon Ball Z’ and his most interesting feature is that he can stop time. Of course, the warrior is no match for Son Goku, who grows stronger with every opponent he defeats.

Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero is now available for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. In addition to the 182 playable characters available at launch, Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft are preparing the arrival of 20 additional warriors that will be part of the Season Pass.
