Grand Theft Auto V is a great example of eternity in a video game, with a life that has gone far beyond what its creators initially planned, with a GTA Online that has broken all predictions and turned the Rockstar Games title into something indispensable to know the video game industry and content creation in the last decade. Now, more than ten years after its launch and with the sixth installment scheduled for the same 2025, new features continue to emerge, such as a free update for PC that will arrive on March 4.
This update brings enhancements to PC players that were previously only available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. These include new vehicles and performance upgrades in Hao’s Special Works, as well as animal encounters, improved graphics options, faster load times, and more. Anyone who owns the PC version of GTA 5 will be able to update to this version for free, along with a character migration process to transfer story mode and online progress.

GTA V continues to receive free updates.
Below are the new features in Grand Theft Auto V for PC:
- A variety of new vehicles and upgrades in Hao’s Special Works that take car performance to new heights. Plus, test your driving skills with premium test vehicles and HSW races and time trials.
- Meet wildlife in southern San Andreas and snap photos to enter the daily Wildlife Photo Challenge for new rewards.
- PC gamers can subscribe to GTA+ for special perks in the expanded version of GTA Online and more.
- Track your criminal activities across all GTA Online updates with the Career Progress feature as you build your empire.
- Browse an updated homepage as your first destination to get right into the action. Plus, take advantage of the enhanced new player start-up funds with GTA$ 4,000,000 to purchase real estate, vehicles, and other items to launch your career as a CEO, arms dealer, nightclub owner, or biker in the Career Builder.
