Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 is called Pacific Break, and the new map, based on the North American west coast, lives up to its name. This is what the new island in the game looks like:

The new season will remain active until March 4, 2026, and this new stage adds a new map full of changes and new features. During this time, Fortnite says goodbye to its previous Springfield map and welcomes the new one. Here are all the locations to visit, 13 in total:
- Battlewood Boulevard
- Bumpy Bay
- Classified Canyon
- Fore Fields
- Humble Hills
- Innoloop Labs
- Latte Landing
- Painted Palms
- Ripped Tides
- Sandy Strip
- Sub Studios
- Tiptop Terrace
- Wonkeeland

As we mentioned, there are many places on the new map inspired by iconic areas of the US Pacific coast. For example, we will visit movie studios and a Hollywood-style boulevard (Los Angeles); there is also an area full of luxury hotels and neon lights at night (Las Vegas), and there is even a desert area with a mysterious military base (Area 51). Below, we leave you with a gallery of official images from the game:

This is a drastic change of scenery that breaks not only with the setting of the previous mini-season’s Simpsons map but also with the overall island setting of Chapter 6, which was heavily inspired by Japan. In a way, Fortnite has “crossed the Pacific” by moving the action from a location inspired by the Far East to one based on the west coast of the United States.
Goodbye battle bus, hello surfboard
Another interesting detail is that the battle bus was completely destroyed in the trailer for the new season. For a limited time, the only way for players to reach the new island is by surfing on a huge tsunami, after which there is a limited flight time to land wherever we want... or can.

It is expected that with the Battle Bus Missions, the bus itself will gradually be rebuilt, so the surfing mechanic will only be present for a limited time. It’s an original way to continue establishing the identity of the game’s new island, as surfing culture is deeply rooted in places in the United States such as the California coast.
