Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has brought a new map with lots of secrets and new locations to discover. Below we leave you with the map of the new season of Fortnite:
As you can see, it’s a completely original map, with none of the named locations from previous seasons returning. The new Fortnite island has a distinctly Japanese aesthetic and setting, which matches the rest of the theme of this new stage of the game.
The fusion between ancient architecture and modern wonders is one of the key points of the new areas we can visit. As in the Land of the Rising Sun, in this new Fortnite map we will visit both areas that are several hundred years old and large cities at the forefront of architecture and technology. Nor is the train, one of the great novelties of Chapter 5 Season 1, which is back in this new stage of Fortnite. This vehicle allows us to easily move around a large part of the island, as well as pick up loot on the go.
This new map is inhabited by supernatural creatures of great size, such as The Great Turtle, who lives on the island in search of his lost mate, or Godzilla himself, who is enormous in size and threatens to devastate the major population centers.
New Bosses of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1
The new island is home to the evil Shogun X, a powerful demon warrior who wants to destroy it in search of the coveted spiritual energy to dispel the spreading darkness. This is the new boss of this season, and if we manage to defeat him, we will receive the Wanderer’s Medallion. This item gives us infinite energy and invisibility while sprinting.
On the other hand, there is also the Night Rose, an evil spirit that harasses those who enter its realms from other realms with surprise attacks. If we manage to eliminate it, we will receive the Night Rose Medallion, which will automatically recharge the weapons.

These areas have an Asian/Japanese aesthetic, and as such, there are many places typical of that culture, such as dojos, temples, large cities, and feudal fortresses. The game’s new island promises to bring a lot of excitement to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.
These are the areas available at the beginning of the season; it is possible that, as has happened on other occasions, some areas will change partially or drastically as the season progresses, disappearing and giving way to completely new ones. All of this will depend on the evolution of the game’s narrative.
