This is the newest One Piece prophecy that’s shaking the fate of Luffy vs Kizaru
The One Piece manga has the Straw Hats against the ropes, surrounded by Kizaru and Saturn, and a certain theory about Hawkins premonition is starting to make sense.
The continuous hiatus of One Piece for some time now have started to drive us crazy. Us and to the rest of the community. We have such a thirst for adventure and news that even the crudest theories those that we would have laughed at in their day, now begin to sound plausible to us. Such is the case of the new prophecy being shared online about the imminent fate of the Straw Hats.
The theory stems from Basil Hawkins’s prediction in chapter 990 of the One Piece manga. After reading his tarot cards to Zoro and Luffy, Hawkins told them both that they only had a 19% chance of being alive within a month. Well, a user has taken the trouble to calculate how much has passed since then, and... it’s almost exactly one month.
Coincidence? Maybe. Who knows. The next chapter of One Piece is number 1090. Maybe it would also be a coincidence that we would have a flashback to Hawkins’ prediction just one hundred episodes later. Or maybe not. With Eiichiro Oda, you never know.
The point is that there are reasons to tremble for the future that awaits the Straw Hats in Egghead. We have for example the fate of the Pirate Alliance. Since they left Wano, two of the three captains of said Alliance have seen their dreams cut short and they have withdrawn from the race for the One Piece. Law and Kid have been defeated with a bit of overkill. After crossing paths with Blackbeard and Shanks respectively, the former has lost his crew and the latter we’re not even sure if he’s still alive.
Let’s think about Hawkins’ prediction and the fate of Law and Kid. Now we add to the equation the current state of the Straw Hats. The gang is on Egghead, the island of the future, and is tired after fighting against the seraphim (the new pacifists, hybrids of shichibukai and lunarian) and after also fighting against the new version of Rob Lucci, already with his awakened fruit.
Around them, we find, according to chapter 1089, “national class military forces that far exceed those of a buster call.” Surrounding the island is a fleet of 100 ships (20 of them warships) carrying 30,000 marines. But even more dangerous, at the head of such a regiment are 9 vice admirals of the navy, Admiral Kizaru and one of the Five Elders, Jaygarcia Saturn.
The Navy had not conducted a similar deployment since the Marineford War. We know that the Mugiwaras have improved a lot after what happened in Wano and Onigashima, but... enough to be able to face such a battalion?
The wait until One Piece chapter 1090 is going to be eternal. It is likely that we will even have to wait longer, as Eiichiro Oda will have to explain how all of the Straw Hats get to where York is. The gang’s plan seems to be to run away using York.
A confrontation with Kizaru and Saturn seems inevitable, although momentary and during a flight. We have been sold since the beginning of the year that the end of Egghead brings with it an event that “will shake the whole world”. Could it be the admiral’s defeat? That of one of the Five Elders? Luffy’s capture? Is there perhaps a thread of hope for the champions of the ZKK theory (Zoro Kills Kaido/Kizaru)?
