This is the slip of an actor of ‘House of the Dragon’ that confirms a popular Targaryen prince
An outstanding figure and very different from his Targaryen brothers.
‘House of the Dragon’ is one of the most popular series of recent years, the work based on the universe of George R.R. Martin is preparing for the premiere of its season 3, for which we will still have to wait, but of which we are unexpectedly learning details. One of them has been thanks to the slip of actor Steve Toussaint, who plays Lord Corlys Velaryon, and who uploaded to Instagram a publication that he would immediately delete, but that some have been able to capture. What is it about? An image showing the cast list for episode four of season three, and this one includes Daeron Targaryen, another of the Targaryen princes, son of Alicent and Viserys. The third season of the series is currently in production, its premiere is expected to arrive sometime in 2026.
A character of enormous importance for the events that will be in the series, and the confirmation of his presence is a great relief for some fans who might have doubted about his appearance in ‘House of the Dragon’. Daeron was already mentioned in the second one by his grandfather, Otto Hightower, he has been raised in Antigua since he was 12 years old, and he is defined as a person of gentle character and the most popular among his brothers, being very different from them having grown up in a completely different environment.
The ‘Song of Ice and Fire’ phenomenon will continue to stand out in 2025
George R. R. Martin’s followers will still have to wait to enjoy the third season of ‘The House of the Dragon’, but luckily this same 2025 another production based on one of his books will see the light. It is ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’, a series based on the book of the same name and will consist of a total of six episodes, a series with a lower budget than ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘House of the Dragon’, but that will immerse us again in an exciting world.
