Pokémon TCG Pocket
This Pokémon TCG Pocket Farfetch’d strategy lets you dominate the early game
Farfetch’d has become an indispensable card in the deck of every Pokémon TCG Pocket player, as it’s helping players trivialize the early game.
During the first weeks of Pokémon TCG Pocket since its launch, no clear winning strategy or deck composition stood out indisputably over the others, but several very common stratagems are beginning to emerge. One of these sees the Farfetch’d card from the Genetic Apex set, the game’s first expansion pack, now absolutely dominating the early game scene. Big damage at a low cost? It was bound to happen.
What is the Farfetch’d strategy in Pokémon TCG Pocket?
Farfetch’d is a card that can be obtained in the Genetic Apex set. If you don’t have luck opening envelopes, you can buy it directly with with 35 points from opening packs.
Broadly speaking, the Farfetch’d’s strategy consists of adding two copies of this card to any deck. If you are lucky, during your opening hand you get one of these, and the idea is to open the game by placing Farfetch’d as your active Pokémon, especially if you start second, because then you can add energy to it and start attacking immediately.
Farfetch’d only needs one energy of any color to be able to use his Leek Slap attack, which with the 40 damage it inflicts, can easily overwhelm other basic Pokémon, weakening them in two attacks. and giving you a crucial advantage in the first turns of every game.
Obviously It is not a 100% effective strategy because you depend on chance when it comes to how the cards are shuffled, but it can be made more consistent if you include cards that allow us to draw more cards such as Poké Ball or Professor Research.
