‘Thunderbolts*’ gets its first official trailer, and it looks like peak Marvel Studios

It’s time to let the meanest of the mean take over the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel Studios is set to release ‘Thunderbolts*’, a film that brings a bunch of misfit villains from the universe to fling knives, kick ass, and form their own “superhero” group. And we emphasize keywords such as “misfits” because that’s what that they themselves say in their own official information. The first trailer, which you canfind below, may surprise more than one.

Set to premiere on April 30, 2025, the movie stars Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), who leads this group of thugs and antiheroes willing to give everything for the mission... or not. The return of Black Widow’s old companion is just one of the familiar faces that will grace the big screen: Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and Phantom (Hannah John-Kamen), among other faces that have not yet been revealed, conform the main cast of this movie. And just as well, Lewis Pullman is making his debut in the MCU as a very special character, which while the trailer only call Bob, we already know he’s actually supposed to be the mighty Sentry.

The film is directed by Jake Schreier, a director that is new to the superhero genre. His career has been focused on television, winning a Primetime Emmy for ‘Beef’(2023). He is also known for his works in ‘Minx’ (2022), ‘The Premise’ (2021), ‘Brand New Cherry Flavor’ (2021) and ‘Dave’ (2021).
