Born in California in 1958, Tim Burton is without a doubt a filmmaker with an innate talent. He has been able to stamp his own identity on each and every one of his productions, escaping from the strict standards that an audience is used to. Fantastically eccentric and risky in his productions, his version of Planet of the Apes was a big blow to his reputation and cost him his resurrection. But we think it is unfair to ignore his entire career and the great productions that gave him the recognition and reputation he deserves.

Did you know that Tim Burton appears in the wolf scene as one of the clowns sitting next to Mr. Calloway’s trailer? We know from Big Fish that Steven Spielberg was involved in the production. He also wanted Jack Nicholson to star in the movie, but in the end he withdrew from the project due to his schedule. Tim Burton would soon sign on and take over the production.

A scene that took 3 weeks to shoot.
