Time travel comes to Fortnite: The game returns to the past, hints on final event

The new Fortnite update patch has brought clues about what will happen in the final event of Chapter 4, Season 4. Kado Thorne’s time machine has been activated, giving us information about the future of the game... or is it the past? Below we leave you with everything we know so far:
Kado Thorne’s time machine takes Fortnite back in time for its final event
At the beginning of Chapter 4 Season 4, we were introduced to Kado Thorne in his trailer. He is a vampire who owns a time machine and has used it to travel to different eras and steal all sorts of treasures.
With the arrival of Fortnite patch 26.30 on October 10, 2023, new files have been added to the game that gives many clues about the final event of this season. Among these files, we have a new image for the lobby and a loading screen of Kado Thorne’s time machine:
In both images, we can see a very specific date: June 12, 2018. This is the day that Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 5 was released. This suggests that the final event of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 could cause Kado Thorne’s time machine to change the island for this season. In other words, the next season of Fortnite would bring back elements from Chapter 1 Season 5.
With the changes in Fortnite patch 26.30, we can see the time machine in all its glory, as the secret room that houses it in Eclipsed Estates has been opened.

We still don’t know when the final event of Fortnite’s Chapter 4 Season 4 will take place, but it looks like it’s going to be absolutely spectacular.
