Tom Holland confesses his biggest fear about Spider-Man 4 and why he’s considering to walk away Marvel
The actor, who plays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU, is excited about his fourth film as Spider-Man, but he also has his fears.
Tom Holland, the famous actor who portrays Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the MCU, has admitted in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter that despite being willing to do more Spider-Man movies for Marvel Studios, a part of him wants to step away from the Spider-Man character altogether. And is that the fourth part of Spider-Man as part of the MCU is already underway and the willingness of the actor is complete; although he admits to be afraid to get into a new film trilogy.

" I think we found the reason why,” the actor has assured in reference to the reasons for making the fourth installment of Spider-Man. " I’m really, really happy with where we’re at regarding the creative. But I’m also a little apprehensive about it,” Holland admitted. “There’s a bit of a stigma about the fourth one in all franchises. I feel like we hit a home run with our first franchise and there’s a part of me that wants to walk away with my head held high and pass the baton to the next lucky kid that gets to bring this character to life,” the actor continued.
Production on Spider-Man 4 is currently at a complete standstill due to the writers’ and actors’ strike, so it doesn’t look like Marvel Studios will be resuming the project anytime soon. Nevertheless, the main people involved say they have a good idea on their hands, and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said a few months ago that the movie’s screenwriters have a great story to bring to the big screen.
With no concrete release date - there is no official title - it looks like it will be a while before we see Spider-Man 4 in theaters, as according to the latest Disney release shakeup, the final crossover of Phase 6, Avengers: Secret Wars, has been pushed back to May 2027. Spider-Man 4 is expected to be released before then.
