Tom Holland confirms when ‘Spider-Man 4′ will start filming
The British actor will reprise his role as Peter Parker for a fourth installment.
It’s all confirmed: Tom Holland has confirmed for the first time that he will return as Spider-Man in ‘Spider-Man 4′. The Brit will become the longest-running Peter Parker of the modern era with four appearances, surpassing Tobey Maguire’s three and Andrew Garfield’s two. The actor confirmed the news on Jimmy Fallon’s show, saying, “It’s happening.” He then embraced the host in a heartfelt hug and they celebrated the return of Spider-Man. Not only did Tom Holland say for the first time that he would return as Spider-Man, but he also announced when filming for Jon Watts’ movie would begin. The English actor admitted that production will begin in the summer of 2025. “Super exciting. Yeah, I can’t wait.,” the actor admitted.
A busy year for the Englishman
Tom Holland’s return for a fourth ‘Spider-Man’ film was an open secret. After the MCU trilogy consisting of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ (2017), ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ (2019) and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ (2021), the actor will once again don the Spider-Man suit from the summer of next year. However, it will not be the only work of the interpreter, as it was recently confirmed that he will be, along with Matt Damon, one of the protagonists of the next film by Christopher Nolan, which has a release date of July 17, 2026. So Tom Holland will have a busy 2025.
The same thing happened to Zendaya. The Oakland born actress gave life to MJ Watson, Peter Parker’s romantic interest, in the trilogy directed by Jon Watts. Recently, it has been confirmed that she will return to be part of the main cast of ‘Spider-Man 4′, but she also has another project and it is not at all small. It is ‘Dune 3: Messiah’, the third part of Denis Villeneuve’s trilogy. This one will start shooting in early 2026, so Zendaya can fit her schedule around all her commitments.
