Tom Holland has revealed who’s the actor he most admires in the industry, and it makes perfect sense
Who has become the biggest example for Tom Holland? Well, the answer mirrors one of his biggest roles almost perfectly, and we’re not surprised.
Tom Holland has become one of the most sought-after actors in recent years. The British actor has made a name for himself in the industry after starring in the ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy by Jon Watts, which will soon become a tetralogy. And thanks to his time as Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he’s had the chance to work with some of the biggest stars in Hollywood like Samuel L. Jackson, Alfred Molina, Willem Dafoe, and many more.
However, he’s very clear about the person that surprised him the most and the one he admires most in the film industry. Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark in the MCU), who he describes as someone who is always “super professional.” But he was also surprised about his behavior on set: “The way he directs and sets an example of how one should behave on set is very good [...] He knows everyone’s name, he is always punctual.”
Tom Holland’s next projects
The British actor will have an eventful 2025 in terms of filming. As we mentioned previously, ‘Spider-Man 4′ is now going to be a reality and filming will begin next summer. Tom Holland will once again put on the Spider-Man suit 4 years after the release of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. However, it is not the only thing that the interpreter has in hand, since he will also star in the next Christopher Nolan movie alongside Matt Damon. The plot is not yet known, but it is rumored that it could be a vampire film set in the 1920s. What is known is the world premiere date: July 17, 2026.
With these projects, Tom Holland will have to jump from set to set to be able to meet their commitments. It’s simpler for Zendaya, who will return to ‘Spider-Man 4′ as MJ. The American actress will also be part of ‘Dune 3: Messiah’, the third part of the trilogy of Denis Villeneuve. Due to Zendaya’s scheduling commitments, that movie will only begin filming in early 2026.
