Today marks the end of the NBA Summer League, and one of the most anticipated aspects of the NBA 2K community is the announcement of the player rankings.
It has been a short time since it was announced, but NBA 2K24 is already on the horizon for fans of the franchise and basketball. And after the cover of the special edition - dedicated to Kobe Bryant - there are many details that the community is waiting for, including the player rankings.
Who will be the best players? Who are the great rookies to consider? Who will be the players with the best stats when building a new team? Well, for now, and according to the developers, it’s still too early to know these details. Although there is already a list floating around the Internet.
Which players have the best rankings in NBA 2K24?
A list has appeared on the portal 2kratings.com that shows all the players of the upcoming title in the franchise and their ranking. Among the top 10 we find Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo or Luka Doncic, leaving LeBron James in fifth place. But is this list official? The answer is no. In fact, the same page has a caption that reads, “The ratings listed for NBA 2K24 are subject to change upon official release by 2K.” So... it would be a good idea not to take this as an official source.
When will the Top 10 NBA 2K24 Players be announced?
Even though the NBA Summer League ends this July 14th, fans are already more than impatient to know when we will have the NBA 2K24 ratings. This has reached Visual Concepts, developers of the 2K Sports franchise, and Ronnie Singh himself, Director of Digital Marketing for 2K Games, Ronnie 2K for the fans, who has come out to ask for the fans’ patience just last week.
Furthermore, his following message on Twitter is a response to Jamal Murray, point guard of the Denver Nuggets, where he replied that all ratings are “all fake this time of year”.
It will take some time for 2K Sports and Visual Concepts to reveal these rankings (in fact, they haven’t even revealed the cover athlete for the standard version of the game). Considering that NBA 2K24 will be released on September 8th, we can’t wait for the rankings to be released in late August or early September.
