Ultra Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta is finally here in Dragon Ball—and fans can’t get enough
The successful free-to-play mobile game Dragon Ball Legends from Bandai Namco has just confirmed this never-before-seen version of a ‘Dragon Ball GT’ transformation.
Dragon Ball Legends, the popular and highly successful free-to-play iOS and Android mobile game from Bandai Namco, has introduced the new Ultra Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta transformation, now available in the app. “It’s going to get intense, Kakarot,” begins a spectacular trailer showcasing this brand-new transformation of the Saiyan Prince, based on the always-debated Super Saiyan 4 from ‘Dragon Ball GT.’ This comes shortly after the return of Gogeta Super Saiyan 4 in an equally stunning cinematic.
Here’s what the new Ultra Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta looks like
Even years after Vegeta’s official introduction as Super Saiyan 4 in ‘Dragon Ball GT,’ the transformation still sparks debate among fans. Many believe that Vegeta should never have reached this state—a level of power traditionally reserved for truly legendary Saiyans like Goku. That said, Goku also needed Kaio’s help to unlock his latent power.
In Vegeta’s case, the father of Trunks and Bra achieves this brutal level of power thanks to Bulma’s assistance and a powerful Blutz wave discharge. This version, now enhanced through his Ultra transformation, will be available in Dragon Ball Legends starting today, Wednesday, August 27—a perfect opportunity to jump back into the game and grab this special version of Vegeta.
“We’re celebrating the release of a new character by holding a social media campaign,” said the Dragon Ball Legends team. “We’re giving away 150 Chrono Crystals if this post reaches 10,000 likes, shares, and reposts worldwide!” they added. While this may not be Vegeta’s most popular version, it’s always exciting to see new official ‘Dragon Ball’ transformations, especially from Bandai Namco, which holds the license for Akira Toriyama’s iconic franchise.
