Update:
Undisputed

Boxing fans have been missing a good video game for years, but that may change this year with Undisputed, a title with ultra-realistic graphics that has been in Early Access on Steam since January 2023. Developer Steel City Interactive has just announced its final release date, in addition to its arrival on current generation consoles, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: October 11, 2024.

Version 1.0 of the game will be available for players of the aforementioned consoles in addition to, of course, for PC players on Steam. There will also be two different versions: on the one hand the standard one, and on the other, the WBC edition, with three packs of extra fighters among which are Canelo Álvarez, Julio César Chávez, and Tyson Fury, in addition to young versions of Canelo himself, Fury, and the legend per excellence, Mohammad Ali. Players who purchase this edition will also be able to enjoy three days of early access.

Additionally, the studio has anticipated that players can expect “a schedule of exciting post-launch content, both free and paid, including new fighters and outfits.”

However, until its launch, Steel City still has work to do, since the reviews on Steam are nothing to write home about at the moment. Most of the recent ones are Mixed, and mention among their main problems a technical performance that can be greatly improved. Let’s hope that by October the game performs as expected and we can enjoy good boxing again.
