Vin Diesel confirms the return of the most beloved character in the saga for the final ‘Fast & Furious’ movie
The actor who plays Dominic Toretto spoke excitedly about the end of the iconic franchise.
The Fast & Furious saga is coming to an end. Created in 2001 and mostly starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, the film franchise will conclude with Fast XI, the eleventh movie. Following the events of the tenth installment — where the fate of Dom’s crew is left unclear — Jason Momoa is expected to return as Dante Reyes in one final villain role. In addition to the film’s planned release in 2027, Vin Diesel shared new details during a recent appearance at FuelFest in Los Angeles.
The actor who portrays Dominic Toretto in the saga confirmed that, during a meeting with Universal, he set three conditions for the development of the movie: that filming return to Los Angeles, that street racing be included, and — the biggest surprise of the night — that the character Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) return. “One of the most anticipated moments in the finale will be seeing Brian with Dom again,” the actor said.

One of the most emotional comebacks
Paul Walker passed away on November 30, 2013, in a car accident. The actor’s sudden death — which occurred while he was filming Fast & Furious 7 — devastated the film industry. Hundreds of actors and directors mourned his loss, especially his best friend in Hollywood, Vin Diesel. The seventh film in the franchise served as a tribute to Walker, along with the emotional song “See You Again.”
