‘Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2’ reveals its ambitious roadmap with content until the end of 2025

Focus Entertainment has unveiled its plans for the first year and a half of Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2, and it would make the Emperor proud.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is about to land on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S with overwhelming third-person action and a series of day-one content that doesn’t look bad at all. And to its promising single-player campaign, we must add its Cooperative and PvP modes; but beyond settling for that, Focus Entertainment is already preparing a series of new content that will arrive between 2024 and the end of 2025. And there will be both free and paid content; so it’s quite an ambitious roadmap.

This is the Year One Battle Plan for Space Marine 2

The roadmap for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 includes both free content - the most important ones - and paid content, all under the name of “Year One Battle Plan”. This same month of September will the release of the game and the beginning of Season 1, with a Season 2 scheduled for the end of 2024, a series of new free content that will include private lobbies for cooperative mode, support for Ultrawide screens, a new PvE mission, a new difficulty level, a new enemy and a new weapon; those who have the Premium version will also receive new cosmetic items.

On the other hand, 2025 will see the release of the most important content of the first year. Seasons 3 and 4 will arrive with new cooperative missions, new weapons and enemies, prestige ranks for multiplayer, new combat arenas and maps for competitive mode, and a new horde mode, all completely free of charge. Again, holders of the Premium edition will also receive new cosmetic items.

In addition, new content that is currently unknown will arrive throughout 2025; This is clear from the “Incoming Transmission” messages that you can read in the roadmap graphic itself. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be available September 9 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
