Watch House of the Dragon for free with this special Max trial

Love them or hat them, subscription services are a necessity if you wan’t to enjoy most of the hottest series and movies that have been released in the past few years like The Last of Us, The Boys, and of course, House of the Dragon, which premieres its second season on June 16. Perhaps for this very reason, HBO’s Max streaming platform has brought back its week-long free trial for a limited time only.

From now and until June 23, new users to the service who have never been subscribed to the platform can claim a free seven-day trial of any of the subscription plans for the platform. This includes the Ultimate Ad-Free plan, which typically goes for $20.99 per month. You can get your free trial through this link.

Of course, to actually get the free trial you need to create an account and register a payment method, which will be automatically charged for the first month of the subscription tier you’ve selected at the end of the trial period, unless you cancel before that time runs out. But when you do you’ll get an entire week of unlimited access to the entire Max library, which includes the complete HBO lineup (Game of Thrones, Chernobyl, House of the Dragon, The Last of Us), Warner Bros (DC Studios, The Lord of the Rings, Cartoon Network), and many movies and shows more.

Max prices are on the rise

This is a great offer if you haven’t made the jump into the service yet, especially as the platform recently increased its prices. The increase is of only one dollar: from $15.99 per month to $16.99 per month. The same goes for the yearly subscription: from $149.99 to $169.99. The increase started a few weeks ago for new members and Max warned that active users to whom it will apply will be notified 30 days in advance.
