What time and when will the 2026 Steam Spring Sale start?

While the weather remains cold, the promise of a warmer climate, green grass and seasonal allergies is just around the corner, and with that, the moment our wallets have been waiting for. This week, the traditional Steam Spring Sale kicks off, hoping for new deals that make our library happy and our wallet, well… not that happy. Here’s everything you need to know to be ready for this sale.

When is the 2026 Steam Spring Sale?

The Steam Spring Sale will kick off this Thursday, January 18th. Gamers will have until March 26 to check out all the sales that will be available during this period. As always, MeriStation will have a list of the best deals we find during these days, showing prices and sales.

When does the 2026 Steam Spring Sale start?

We already have the date, but what time does it start? Well, the time you’ll be thankful you might have some money for Christmas presents will be at the following times in the United States:

• 1:00 PM ET
• 12:00 PM CT
• 10:00 AM PT

As with any Steam sale, it’s not clear at this point what will be discounted and what won’t, but there’s a good trick to keep an eye out for. Go to the Steam website, search for the games you’ve always wanted, and add them to your wishlist. Steam will then send you an email when it’s discounted, whether it’s for this Steam sale, a random discount throughout the year, or another seasonal offer.
