When and when CoD Warzone Season 2 and Black Ops 6 will launch: new weapons, Terminator and gameplay changes
Warzone Season 2 alongside Black Ops 6 will improve movement speed, among other quality of life improvements.
Call of Duty is very close to the release of Season 2, which will be shared by Warzone and Black Ops 6, and there is still a while to go before Verdansk’s return. Until that moment arrives, the battle royale will be strengthened with a relevant weapons grid and changes that will affect the game systems.

Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6 Season 2 will launch on June 28th at 12:00 ET. The update will be available for pre-download on compatible platforms via PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

As always, weapon upgrades are the elements that make the difference in the arrival of a new grid of content. Season 2 will bring back some franchise classics such as the PPSh-41 submachine gun and the TR2 scout rifle (the lifelong FAL). They will be joined by the Cypher 091 assault rifle and the Feng 82 light machine gun. The crossbow will also be introduced as an accessory.
From February 6th to 20th, the big event related to the ‘Terminator’ franchise will be held, which will continue the line of rewards with 13 new features. At the moment we do not know what it will be about, but we have clear that it will be similar to what we have seen in the first season with ‘Squid Game’. You will also be able to buy a special package in the store with a Terminator T-800 as an operator and Schwarzenegger himself.
Gameplay changes in Warzone include a speed boost when crouching or lying down. Actions such as reloading weapons, sliding, jumping over obstacles, and the transition to open the parachute have all received speed adjustments. Visibility around the map has also been improved.
