When does Black Ops 6 come out: date, news, and editions of the new Call of Duty
Black Ops 6 has just been revealed, and there’s already plenty of information about it with more on its way. Here’s everything we know.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has finally been revealed, and fans are already extremely excited about the franchise’s return to one of its most amazing sub-series. Of course, with some months still to go before its release, there is as much secret information about the game in real life as there is in-game for the title’s covert operations. Here we’ve gathered everything that has been revealed about the game so far.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 release date
Black Ops 6 has only now been announced, but apart from its title and a few hints toward its story set during the Gulf War, we don’t really know much yet. No official release date has been shared, although it’s expected to launch around November of this year, as the series has done in previous iterations.
Apart from that, no platforms have been revealed apart from Xbox and presumably PC, as Activision and all of the studios involved with the game are now part of Xbox Game Studios. If what was claimed during the acquisition drama is to be believed, then we could see the game come to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and perhaps even Nintendo consoles.
Will Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 release on Xbox Game Pass?
Yes, Black Ops 6 will debut from day one in the Game Pass catalog in all its modalities. The game has been confirmed for the service, with more information coming with the Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6 Direct on June 9, 2024, at 10am PT.
How many editions of Black Ops 6 will be available at launch?
As of this moment, no details about any different editions of the game have been made available by the developers, Activision, or Xbox. It’s possible that more of this information will be revealed as we get closer to the release date.
