What is the new Fortnite season all about?

The final days of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 are dedicated to an in-game mini-event that serves as a teaser for the upcoming season. A giant hand of a Titan -a deity that predates the Olympian gods in Greek mythology- emerges from the ground holding Pandora’s Box. Players will be able to break the chains holding Pandora’s Box to the Titan’s hand to unleash all sorts of evil on the island, including tornadoes and thunderstorms.

In addition to this, the Odyssey Quests also propose that we complete a peculiar Mosaic depicting the three heads of Cerberus, a three-headed dog that in Greek mythology guarded the entrance to the underworld, preventing the dead from escaping and the living from entering.

The mosaic would represent an outfit of Cerberus, which will appear in the game next season:

To sum up, the theme of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 will be Greek mythology. In previous surveys, we have been able to see how there were outfits representing deities of ancient Greece such as Athena, Ares, Hades, Persephone, and Zeus.

Odyssey, who gives us the quests that consist of investigating the mosaic and is only an NPC for now, should also be a Battle Pass outfit.
