When does the new Fortnite season start? Full date and schedule

Fortnite is getting ready to fully enter its new phase: a new season called Fortnite Remix: Chapter 2. Full dates and times for the start of the new Fortnite season

As shown in the game itself from the start of the still current Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, the new season will start on Saturday, 2 November 2024 at 2:00 am ET. This date and time corresponds to the following times in the United States:

To play the new Fortnite season, we will have to connect to the game from this date and download patch 32.00, which will add all the new content. You will also have to wait a few hours while Epic Games’ servers are in maintenance mode to ensure that the new season is correctly implemented. What can we expect from the new Fortnite season?

The new Fortnite season, which will be the 32nd in total, is called Fortnite Remix: Chapter 2. As the name suggests, it will be both a mini-season and an in-game event in which, for almost the entire month of November 2024, the map of the main game modes will be that of Chapter 2, and will undergo changes that reflect how it was in different seasons of that chapter.

During this time, classic weapons and items such as the Burst Assault Rifle, the Pump Shotgun and Midas’ Drum Gun, which are hallmarks of this chapter of the game before the current one, will also return. The teasers also reveal that there will be new remix outfits of popular and beloved characters. One of the most striking combinations, for example, is a new outfit that combines Meowscles and Midas.
