When does ‘Wednesday’ season 2 premiere on Netflix? Dates, how many episodes and cast of the series
The first chapters of the second season arrive on Netflix on August 6.
November 2022 was a particularly grim month thanks to the spin-off created by eccentric filmmaker Tim Burton, ‘Wednesday’. With its characteristic gothic aesthetic, its reimagining of the iconic characters and plot full of mystery and surprising plot twists, this new story of the Addams Family universe was quickly crowned the most watched English-language series in a single season. Fans have had to wait nearly three years to be able to return to the creepy Nevermore Academy with Wednesday Addams, played by young Jenna Ortega.
Wednesday season 2: synopsis
In this new course of the boarding school relegated to marginalized children because of their supernatural powers, Wednesday returns to reconnect with past friends and enemies and enter a new mystery, more dangerous and closer.
This time, the season installment is divided into two release dates: the first four episodes arrive on the streaming platform next August 6, while we will have to hold our breath until September 3 to be able to watch the final four episodes. Netflix is so sure of the success of the continuation of the series that it has already confirmed the production of a third season.
‘Wednesday′ Season 2 will once again feature Jenna Ortega as well as Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia), Luis Guzman (Gomez), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley), George Burcea (Largo) and Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester) as members of the Addmas Family. While Emma Myers (Enid), Joy Sunday (Bianca) and Moosa Mostafa (Eugene) will continue to hang around Nervermore Academy as the eccentric protagonist’s best friends, Tyler Percy Hynes White (Xavier) and Naomi J Ogawa (Yoko Tanaka) will not return to the series.
