When is the next Fortnite World Cup: date, times and Match Schedule

Although it no longer bears the name Fortnite World Cup, the FNCS Global Championship 2024 is the biggest competitive Fortnite event of the year.

The Fortnite competitive scene doesn’t stop and is already looking to the future. While the FNCS Championship Series 2024 is still going on (and will continue until the grand finale on July 27th and 28th), everything is already pointing towards the Fortnite World Cup, the FNCS Global Championship 2024. In this article, we will tell you everything you need to know, including dates, venues, times, and where to watch.

When is the Fortnite World Championship 2024: new structure dates and times

The former Fortnite World Cup, now Fortnite World Championship, has a date and a venue. After a hiatus, the World Championship is back with a live event that will take place from September 7-8 at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, after last year’s tournament of the best Fortnite duos took place in Copenhagen, Denmark.

For now, there is no official schedule for this tournament, but as soon as Epic Games releases more official information, we will update this note.

What’s this year’s FNCS Global Championship 2024 prize pool?

The tournament will feature the top 50 competitive Fortnite duos, including players from North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and other regions. This year, the total prize pool will be $2,002,000, a lower amount than last year’s $4 million, “and a chance to write their names in the history books.” How this money will be distributed among the winners has not yet been announced.

Where to watch the FNCS Global Championship 2024?

Ideally, it would be great to be able to attend directly at the Dickies Arena in Forth Worth. Although it was announced that ticket information would be released in April, nothing has been posted on the Fortnite Competitive website. For now, there are no details on where you can watch the tournament from the comfort of your own home. However, we can assume that just like the FNCS, this tournament will be available on the official website (at watch.fortnite.com), Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and even TikTok or from the Creative map called Legends Landing, whose island code is 3303-7480-5925, although we can also find it in the “From Epic” section of the Game Modes menu.
