Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is getting closer and closer, as confirmed by the roadmap of Fortnite Remix: Chapter 2. Sunday, December 1, 2024, is the appointed day to participate, live and direct, the start of the new season of the game that continues to be one of the most relevant live service titles today. Here is everything you need to know about the premiere of Fortnite Chapter 6, including its date and times:
Fortnite Chapter 6 Start Date and Time
Fortnite Season 1 Chapter 6 will begin on December 1, 2024, at 2:00 AM ET. This date and time corresponds to the following US time zones.
- 2:00 AM ET
- 1:00 AM CT
- 11:00 PM PT (November 30, 2024)
Keep in mind that logging in is not enough; to play the new Fortnite season, we must first connect to the game from this date and time and download patch 33.00, which is the one that adds all the new features. Once the download is complete, we will also have to wait for several hours while Epic Games' servers are in maintenance mode while the company makes sure the content of the new season is implemented correctly. This downtime can last from a few hours to almost a full day in extreme cases. How does Fortnite Remix: Chapter 2 end?
The current season of Fortnite is scheduled to end with The Finale event, which will take place on November 30th at 2:00 pm ET. This is a concert that will pay tribute to the late Juice WRLD and also feature other prominent rap figures such as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, and Ice Spice.
This is not an event that will serve to advance the narrative of the game, but something more celebratory in nature of both the legacy of Fortnite and the career of Juice WRLD, who passed away in 2019. The event will feature the world premiere of the artist’s new posthumous single, “Empty Out Your Pockets.” So, Fortnite is expected to return to its usual theme of introducing us to new heroes and villains, and delving into the mystery of Ground Zero since the arrival of Chapter 6 Season 1.
