Who is Nettles, the mysterious ‘House of the Dragon’ character that everyone is trying to spot in the series?
Nettles is an important character in ‘Fire and Blood’, and many are trying to find her in the newest ‘House of the Dragon’ episodes.
‘House of the Dragon’ has omitted many elements that appear in the book by George R.R. Martin, but none of these have gone unnoticed by fans. The third episode of the second season is the closest example, where HBO decided not to fully capture the battle which served as a prelude to the famous Dance of Dragons. Many users fear that the production company will do the same with Nettles, a relevant character in ‘Fire and Blood’ that many want to see in the series. Who is she really and why is she so important?
Who is Nettles? The most wanted character in ‘House of the Dragon’
We must point out that what we will narrate below dips into spoilers of the book, which at the same time could become part of the series. We recommend you stop reading any further if you don’t want to know what happens in a part of the Dance of Dragons.
Nettles managed to surprise everyone in Westeros with her ability to tame dragons when she was just a teenager. The Blacks wanted to find a suitable rider for Sheepstealer, one of the unclaimed dragons of Dragonmont. On one of his trips to one of the towns in Westeros, he became bewitched by the young woman. From that moment on, a relationship began that would lead her to be one of the spearheads for Rhaenyra and her allies.
One of the stories in the book points out that her relationship with Daemon was fantastic. The prince took care of her. He was always behind her ready to offer his help. Their relationship led to a romantic one that was not viewed favorably by Rhaenyra. The Queen fueled rumors about Nettles’ magical abilities. For her, having tamed the dragon was the result of sorcery, and she would be doing the same to win over her husband.
There are more things happening that we prefer to ignore for the moment. If it is reflected in the HBO series, we should see the young woman before the conclusion of this season. It remains to be seen what the producer’s decision is.
