The first season of ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ has come to an end, confirming another success for HBO based on the work of George R.R. Martin. The series has grown steadily over its six episodes, and many are wondering if there will be a second season.
If you haven’t seen the finale, beware of spoilers from here on out.
Season 1 ends with the aftermath of Baelor Targaryen’s death and everyone preparing to leave Ashford after the funeral. What will happen in season 2? It was already confirmed even before the premiere of season 1, and we’ll see Egg and Dunk again, but this time in a very different place.
When will season 2 of ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ premiere?
The second season of the series has already been confirmed to premiere sometime in 2027, so we won’t have to wait too long to enjoy the new adventures of our favorite wandering knight and his faithful squire Egg, the future King Aegon V Targaryen. A possible date would be early next year, repeating the calendar structure of the first season.
