World of Warcraft Classic details the epic return of Mists of Pandaria and its new class
Blizzard details the first steps towards the long-awaited classic expansion.
The next expansion of World of Warcraft Classic, Mists of Pandaria, is about to arrive. It will be on July 21, 2025, when we will be able to enter again the classic servers of this expansion and play as if it were 2012. But before its launch, Blizzard has detailed what the patch will bring that will give the first steps to this expansion on July 1.
As of the aforementioned date, players will be able to start testing the improved talent system and start playing with the Monk class. This class will allow players to fill the tank, healer, or melee DPS roles in their party. The pre-patch also includes the pet battle system and the Theramore’s Fall scenario. Along with this, there will also be access to World of Warcraft Classic’s first neutral race, the Pandaren, which will be available in both the Alliance and Horde. Completing the Pandaren starting experience will reward retail WoW players with Shaohao’s Sage Serpent mount to use as a Skyriding mount.

Here’s what’s coming in the next few days for players of this expansion.
- July 1: Pandaren Race, Monk Class, Theramore’s Fall Scenario, Pet Battles, Talent System Rework
- July 21: Pandaria Continent available, new instances, level cap raised to 90, challenge mode dungeons, scenarios
- July 31: Mogu’Shan Vaults Raid Opens at 6:00 PM Eastern (normal and heroic difficulties for groups of 10 or 25 players)
- Mid-August: Celestial Dungeons (replacement for Raid Finder)
Players of World of Warcraft can take advantage of a 50% increase in experience points until July 1st if they want to catch up on Mists of Pandaria Classic. It remains to be seen how many World of Warcraft gamers will return for the Pandaria trip.
