Xbox announces its first 2025 event and plays with mystery in one of its games
A Developer Direct that will showcase some of the most anticipated titles of the year.
Microsoft has set a date for what will be its first Xbox event of 2025, a Developer Direct that will take place on Thursday, January 23 at 10:00 am PT and will showcase a selection of the most anticipated games coming this year to Xbox X|S series, PC and Game Pass. The image with which they have made the announcement shows several titles, among which stands out one about which there is a question mark, a mystery that will be revealed during the event.
Presented by the studios behind of the games themselves, Developer Direct offers an in-depth look at what’s to come. From Compulsion Games of Montreal, Canada and their action adventure South of Midnight; to Sandfall Interactive of Montpellier, France and their long-awaited RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33; and the legendary id Software in Richardson, Texas, where they will be showing more about DOOM: The Dark Ages. The surprise will come when they visit another studio to see a new game, what will it be about? The latest rumors suggest that a remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion could be a reality.
