Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass is adding 5 new games in August 2023, from indie gems to bloody killers
Horror, platforming, RPGs and action go hand in hand in Xbox Game Pass’ newest addition to its lineup of games on Xbox and PC.
We have just started the second half of August and Microsoft has already set to work to announce one of the things we like the most: the second wave of Xbox Game Pass games for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. A selection in which quality prevails over quantity since it stands out for the variety of titles chosen and the fact of betting on new releases like The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.
New games on Xbox Game Pass for August
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is probably one of the biggest titles in this wave of new games, and if we mentioned that we are talking about the most bloodthirsty murderer in the history of cinema it wouldn’t be hyperbole, because Leatherface not only has killed almost 40 innocent people throughout the movies of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series; he also has a fondness for ripping the skin off their faces and putting it on as a mask. This time it’ll be in an asymmetric multiplayer game in which we must cooperate with other players to survive. Below you’ll find all of the games being added to the service.
In addition, we remind you that Sea of Stars will be added on August 29, the long-awaited JRPG from the creators of The Messenger, one of the most acclaimed indies within the platform and action genre. We also take the opportunity to highlight that Quake 2 Remaster entered Xbox Game Pass by surprise, along with various other games that were added at the beginning of the month.
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in August
As usual, when some come, others leave, and until that moment arrives, Microsoft offers the possibility of buying them all with a 20% discount. Here are all the games leaving the service on August 31.
