Xbox Partner Preview March 2024 summary: everything announced during the show

It’s been barely a month since Xbox graced fans with their latest developer direct, which included some fantastic first looks at five exciting games coming to Xbox and PC from the hands of several Microsoft studios. But today, they’re bringing their second-ever Xbox Partner Preview to showcase upcoming third-party title for the platform.

With just under 30 minutes of runtime, Microsoft and Xbox put the spotlight on a variety of upcoming and exciting games from “partner studios” from around the world, like Capcom’s Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, The First Berserker: Khazan, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, and many more. Below you’ll find everything that was announced during the show.

Unknown 9: Awakening

Possession powers, firearms, a young woman fighting against horrifying enemies. This previously unreleased game has hints of the original Assassin’s Creed games, with an entirely new perspective and varied locations.

Sleight of Hand

Depression-era fantasy, card-based magic, and a witch who’s looking to fight her old coven?. This noir, hard-boiled adventure mixes fantasy with detective films, and while we didn’t quite expect it we’re now fully onboard.

The Alters

From the creators of Frostpunk and This War of Mine, 11 bit studios, comes a new survival and base management game. Crashlanded on a hostile planet, a miner must make use of alternate versions of himself to man a mobile base, trying to escape the ever-chasing scorching sun while exploring the mysterious planet to find answers and a way back home.

Creatures of Ava

Co-created by Rhianna Pratchett, Creatures of Ava shows us alien looking animals following a girl playing the flute, dressed like an explorer. We see her engage in photography and get help from friendly creatures to traverse the land, eventually reaching a lively town, all before showing us a bit of action as she does battle with seemingly corrupted beasties. The game is releasing in 2024

Griefville: Survive the Nightmare x Chucky

Chucky, the doll possessed by the soul of a satanic serial killer, is arriving to Griefville: Survive the Nightmare, the popular Roblox experience that has taken the platform by surprise.

The Sinking City 2

The long awaited sequel to Frogwares lovecraftian horror adventure has finally been revealed. The game will arrive in 2025, but it’s good to know that the studio has already been working on the title.

Final Fantasy XIV Online on Xbox

Square Enix and Microsoft have finally brought the award-winning MMORPG, Final Fantasy XIV, to Xbox consoles. The Warriors of Light are ready to welcome everyone for the full release on Xbox on March 21, 2024

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy

The Cult-classic survival FPS, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., is getting a full trilogy re-release on Xbox consoles. All three of the first STALKER games have been adapted for controllers, bringing their hardcore experiences to home consoles for the first time ever. The game is available right now!

Monster Jam Showdown

Ready for some monster trucks? Race off-road, take part in competitions, and battle other monstrous machines in this upcoming title.

Persona 3 Reload Episode Aigis

A timeloop, the mystery of artificial life, and a new character bring the missing chapter of Persona 3 to the remake. This has been revealed as the third of 3 DLC waves to be released in the coming months through the Persona 3 Reload: Expansion Pass, also available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.

The First Berserker: Khazan

A new game in the DNF universe that takes inspiration from soulslikes and third-person action games like Nioh and Final Fantasy Origin: Stranger of Paradise, this new game by Nexon brings us closer to the action like never before.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau

Take a deep dive into the action you can expect from this upcoming metroidvania inspired by African culture and mythology. Powerful magic, incredible movement, and jaw-dropping environments firmly cement Tales of Kenzera: Zau as a rival for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

Frostpunk 2

The city has survived the winter storm, but what comes next? It won’t take long for us to find out as Frostpunk 2 is finally releasing its harrowing city building experience on July 25, 2024.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

Capcom’s new game has turned out to be an action strategy game in which we’ll direct a maiden protecting a village from horrible night creatures, in which you both take control of and command the villagers and warriors you recruit to fight off the hordes of spectral creatures. The game is releasing at some point in 2024.
