Xbox Partner Preview returns this week spotlighting third-party games for 2026
Xbox’s first gaming showcase under its new boss.

After a few weeks of upheaval at Xbox due to changes in its leadership, things seem to be settling down. Microsoft has announced that a new Xbox Partner Preview will take place this week, scheduled for Thursday, March 26. The presentation will feature new previews from studios such as SEGA, GSC Game World, and Owlcat Games.
What can we expect from the Xbox Partner Preview?
The highlight of this presentation will be Stranger Than Heaven, a title from the developers of Like a Dragon and Ryu Ga Gotoku. The game is set in Japan, spanning multiple time periods, before the Great Kanto Earvthquake, and is scheduled to release this year. Along with this, there will also be an update on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, plus new looks at The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, an action-RPG. “That’s not all we’ll have for you, with first looks and announcements from more great games coming to Xbox consoles, Xbox on PC, and Game Pass,” reads the Xbox Wire.
