Xbox Series S drops in price even lower than their best Black Friday deal yet
It’s bargain hunting time, and for those of you who have been looking to grab an Xbox Series S, now is the best time to grab one with these discounts.
If you’ve been waiting for the right time to pick up an Xbox Series S at its lowest price, the opportunity to get your hands on one has just arrived, as both models of Xbox’s entry-level console are being heavily discounted.
As of this writing, the Xbox Series S 512 GB - Starter Bundle, which includes 3 months of Xbox Games Pass Ultimate, is listed at Target for $219.99. This is $80 less than its MSRP ($299.99) and beats the low price it had during Black Friday by $10.
Now, if you’re looking for a little more storage (or a different color), the Xbox Series S 1TB is listed at Dell for $299.99, $50 off its MSRP ($349.99), and costing what you originally had to pay for the 512GB version. Note that this edition does not include months of Xbox Game Pass like the lower storage version.
As a reminder, try not to buy the Xbox Series S Toaster... it might look the same and make yo nice toasts, but it doesn’t run games.
Xbox has revealed its plans for the future
Just yesterday, after a series of leaks and rumors, Xbox revealed some plans for the future of the company. Among them, Xbox is planning to bring four games from its catalog of exclusives to the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, although at the moment it has not revealed what they are. For now, Starfield and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will not make the jump, although Phil Spencer commented that he would not rule it out.
On the other hand, Activision Blizzard games will be coming to Game Pass from day one. For now, the first title to be added to the catalog will be the recently released Diablo 4, which will arrive on the service on March 28. Speaking of Game Pass, it was reiterated that the service will remain exclusive within the Xbox ecosystem and already has a total of 34 million subscribers.
