Zendaya and Anne Hathaway are the newest stars to sign up for Christopher Nolan’s next movie

After having immense success with ‘Oppenheimer’, Christopher Nolan seems to have no intention of lowering the bar for his next movie. After confirming two of its leads, Tom Holland and Matt Damon, the director is already clear about who he wants to round out the cast, and he is aiming high: none other than Zendaya and Anne Hathaway.

Nolan wants a truly incredible cast

It is not strange that Nolan wants to have Hathaway return, since she already worked with the director on ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. In addition, she also starred, along with Matthew McConaughey in ‘Interstellar’, considered by many to be his best film.

Meanwhile, it would be the first time that Nolan works with Zendaya, one of the biggest emerging stars of Hollywood who is dominating the scene. The young actress, who happens to be in a relationship with Holland, recently skyrocketed in fame with ‘Euphoria’, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ -and its two subsequent deliveries-, ‘Dune’ and its sequel, ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘Challengers’.

Both the title and the synopsis of Christopher Nolan’s next project have yet to be confirmed, although it is known that will move away from the science fiction genre. It is a genre in which the director has always felt comfortable, since in addition to ‘Interstellar’, he also reached a good level with ‘Inception’, although later ‘Tenet’ was one of his most divisive works among critics and the public. It is scheduled to hit theaters during the summer of 2026.
