Ubisoft has announced that its upcoming tactical first-person shooter, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction, will arrive on its release day on the Xbox Game Pass service. At the same time, the company took the opportunity to announce that its subscription service, Ubisoft+ will also be available to users of Xbox consoles.

Through several publications on its official Twitter account, Ubisoft presented this news. The next installment of the Rainbow Six franchise will arrive next January 20, making Xbox Game Pass subscribers can enjoy this installment on both Xbox One, Xbox S|X Series and PC. In addition, it has also been confirmed that its previous installment, Rainbow Six Siege, will be added to PC Game Pass.

Ubisoft+ is also coming to the console

In addition, Ubisoft announced the upcoming arrival of its GamePass-like service, Ubisoft+, on Xbox consoles. This subscription service, originally launched for PC, allows access to more than 100 Ubisoft titles and DLCs on launch day for only $14.99 USD/month. Its catalog has complete franchises and Ultimate and Gold editions such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Rayman, Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell, among others. For now, no exact date has been given as to when the service will arrive in the Xbox ecosystem.

In addition to Xbox consoles and PC, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction will arrive on PS5, PS4 and Google Play on January 20.
