Pokémon Scarlet and Violet announced | Trailer, starters and a region based in Spain

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet were the highlights of today's Pokémon Presents. This is the 9th generation of the series and will be released on Nintendo Switch in the final stretch of 2022. Game Freak is in charge of the development and below you can enjoy the first official trailer as well as all the details.

First details on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

The franchise "takes a new evolutionary step, allowing you to explore freely in a richly expressed open world," according to the game's official website. The description suggests a hybrid proposal between the traditional format and the open scenarios that we have seen in recent years such as the Wild Area (Pokémon Sword and Shield) and the world of Hisui (Pokémon Legends: Arceus). We will be able to explore by land, sea and air. For the moment, no details of the story have transcended. What has not gone unnoticed, as can be seen in the trailer, is the map of the region, based in Spain.
