The arrival of GTA 5 to the current generation of consoles is approaching. After revealing all the details and technical improvements of this version, users are wondering how much they will have to pay to have Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. This considering the plans Rockstar mentioned when it announced it, with the option to have the two game modes split, with a separate GTA Online, intended for those who have no intention of getting the single player mode again.

Although Rockstar Games has not confirmed in its official communications these prices, from PS Store and Xbox Store (the digital portals of both platforms) already reflect both the price and the discount that we will have at launch.

  • GTA 5 for PS5: $39.99 . On sale for $9.99 until June 14 (75% off). Includes GTA Online.
  • GTA 5 for Xbox Series: $39,99. On sale for $19.99 until June 14 (50% off). Includes GTA Online.
  • GTA Online for PS5: free for any user until June 14 (requires PS Plus). After that it will cost $19.99.
  • GTA Online for Xbox Series: $19.99. On sale for $9.99 until June 14 (50% off). Requires Xbox Live Gold to play.

Although the price on PS5 can not be consulted from the official website, it is possible to know the price of Grand Theft Auto V from the console itself. Unlike on Xbox Series, where it costs $19.99 in its launch offer, players on Sony's console will have to pay $9.99, a 75% discount on the usual price.

Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox X Series on March 15. A physical version will also be released this April. Those who have purchased or will purchase it in digital format can already pre-load the game on their console. On PlayStation 5, the game requires at least 86 GB of free storage space.
