Shingeki no Kyojin: the length of Episode 87, the anime's finale, is confirmed
There is only one chapter left for Attack on Titan to end. After its one-week delay, the length of the final episode has been revealed.
The end of Shingeki no Kyojin is getting closer and closer. This Sunday will air the highly anticipated Episode 87 of the anime, the last not only of Season 4 Part 2, but of the entire series. The production based on Hajime Isayama's manga will come to an end this April 3 after a one-week delay, but how long will the episode last? Will it have time to tell everything that remains of the manga in a single episode?
How long Episode 87 of Shingeki no Kyojin will be?
Episode 87 will last 25 minutes, the usual standard length we are used to. With this length -without going into plot spoilers from the manga-, it is complicated that there will be time to deal with all that remains of chapter 130 of the manga (the last chapter of volume #32 of the original comic book). However, we do not know how that ending will be narrated, called in the manga Episode 87 (final) of the Shingeki no Kyohin anime will last 25 minutes; that is, the usual standard length to which we are accustomed. With this length -without going into plot spoilers of the manga-, it is complicated that there will be time to deal with all that remains of the 130th chapter of the manga (the last chapter of volume #32 of the original comic book). However, we do not know how this ending, called in the manga The Dawn of Humanity, will be narrated.
It is unknown if there will be derivative plans beyond this Season 4 Part 2. In other similar productions, the end of the series has been extended with OVAs or movies. We will find out soon. This weekend is the AnimeJapan 2022 event and Shingeki no Kyojin will have its own panel, specifically at 3:50AM (EST) this Sunday, April 3. Will there be any announcements?
