eFootball 2022 continues to celebrate the arrival of Season 1. Dream Team has become the main mode of the current version of Konami's game. But as happened with My Club in its day, you will find some changes that you should keep in mind to be able to get the most out of your team. This time we will talk about the Playstyles.
eFootball 2022: what are the Playstyles and which manager should I sign?
In eFootball 2022 you can select your team's Playstyles from five different styles. Each one changes in a significant way the attitude of the players on the pitch. You must choose the style that best suits your approach to matches. You can switch between these styles at any time:
- Possession Game
- Quick Counter
- Long Ball Counter
- Long Ball
- Out Wide
There are a few things to consider before you take the first step. First of all, your formation. The arrangement of the players will influence the success of your playstyle. If you play Possession, for example, it would be recommended to attack with a 4-1-4-1, while if you prefer Quick Counter, 4-3-3 would be appropriate.
All managers can play with any of the five styles of play. The only change we find will be their rating when using that style, which will make them more or less effective. Of course, a good manager rating is not worth anything if the team does not go along with it: you must not lose sight of the level of the team's playstyle.

What is the best style of play in eFootball 2022?
Quick Counter is by far the best style available at the moment. It allows your players to always look for the breakthrough as soon as they have the ball in possession. In addition, the pressure after loss is collective, so you can recover more easily in those first few seconds of play. We recommend playing with a 4-2-3-1.
While using it, keep in mind that you will unprotect the midfield, which will not stop going up. For this reason we recommend you to have two CMFs ahead of the defense, and from there find two fast wingers who look for the opponent's back. At the start of the match we recommend you to switch to offensive (first level of the red bar, one-touch on the top of the D-Pad). This is the best way to activate the strikers.
